I have an innate interest for anything that is well made. Be it clothes, bags, shoes, wallets or watches, there’s always a feeling of satisfaction knowing that you are using something that was made with the utmost love and care.
So when it comes to well made watches, I have always thought to myself that someone had actually taken the time to put each part together by hand. On top of that, they had taken the time to polish the pieces, regulate the movement in a way we don’t do things like that any more.
Everything is so “throwaway” these days, and there is no sense of permanence with the things we own. But with my watches, I know they are going to last me a lifetime provided if I take good care of them and there is nothing disposable about them.
I want to make watches more approachable so readers from every spectrum could at least appreciate what watches are all about.
With that, I’d love share with you my take on these little engineering marvels we call watches. Enjoy.
Best,
Max.
